The 6.5 x 55 is definitely a fast cartridge with extended trajectory. Its internal precision is excellent and as a hunting cartridge it is optimally suitable for all medium-sized, but also for lighter red deer and wild boar.

With the 8.2 g RWS cone-point bullet or the 9.1 g RWS twin-core bullet, it becomes an all-round cartridge for hunting. Today, it is internationally very popular, in particular as a hunting and sport-shooting cartridge for distances of up to 300 m.
