The RWS 6.5 x 65 R with a rim is the rimmed version of the RWS 6.5 x 65 and is optimally suitable for hunting in the mountains - from chamois and ibex to red deer hunting in Scotland.

The 6.5 x 65 R can be optimally used in light break-open rifles and thus is practically made for the mountains.

In an over-and-under shotgun/rifle combination or a drilling it is furthermore ideal for hunting areas with roe deer and medium-sized large game.
