These bullets were designed primarily for Handgun Metallic Silhouette shooting. Both have the Full Profile Jacket Match TournamentMaster design with a cannelure correctly positioned for 44 Remington Magnum revolvers. The 220 grain #8605 bullet was introduced in 1981. At the 1982 International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association's National Matches held at Indianapolis, IN, Claud Kinard of Puyallup, WA, used the 220 grain #8605 bullet to establish a new revolver record score of 80x80.
